Wings
The extraordinary things
Here's how wings work. First, a plane speeds down the runway. The air flowing over the wings is faster than the air flowing under the wings. Since faster air creates less air pressure than slower air, the pressure under the wing is higher. The higher pressure pushes the plane up, causing lift.
