Ailerons control a plane. What happens is that the air pressure on both wings is the same. When the ailerons move up and down, this changes the air pressure. Since the pressure is changed, the wing with the higher pressure creates more lift, causing the plane to tilt with the wing with higher pressure to raise and the wing with lower pressure to lower. This unstable balance tilts the plane.
